Kylie Roman

Dr. Roman was born and raised just outside of Indianapolis. She earned her undergraduate degrees from Indiana University and enjoyed every moment of it. Go Hoosiers! She began working as a veterinary assistant during her time in Bloomington and found her calling. Before getting into veterinary school, she and her husband, Tyler, moved to northern Minnesota for his job. A short 8 months after moving north, Dr. Roman was accepted to Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine and she and her husband started on a 4 year adventure of living long distance. In her clinical year of veterinary school she realized she had special interest in both Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine. She pursued a 1 year small animal rotating internship at the University of Minnesota the following year. After 5 years of being away from family, she decided to move the family back home to Indiana and join the IndyVet family!

Outside of work, Dr. Roman enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and her sweet/sassy Australian Cattle Dog/Coonhound mix, Eleanor. In her free time you can find her reading, hiking, playing video games, attending Pacers games, frequenting local Indy festivals, or enjoying some good food or quality time with her family and friends.
