IndyVet’s anesthesia team utilizes advanced monitoring equipment to continuously track vital parameters during anesthesia and recovery, allowing for rapid intervention and precise patient care at every stage. Rigorous monitoring and interventions like mechanical ventilation ensure that each patient's cardiovascular and lung function are optimized. Routine procedures and medically complex cases benefit from our advanced pain management techniques such as epidural anesthesia/analgesia, local anesthetic nerve blocks, and individualized pain management protocols.
Our anesthesia technicians are assisted and supervised by the specialty doctors performing the planned procedures. Our criticalist, Dr. Martindale, is also available to assist with complex anesthetic cases that require more intensive monitoring and care, and also provides one-on-one support for our anesthesia team.
