Robert Cotton, DVM


Dr. Cotton was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended Tuskegee University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Animal, Poultry, and Veterinary Sciences. He subsequently attended the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2017 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Dr. Cotton lives with his pet rabbit Weasley, who he adopted during his third year of veterinary school.

Dr. Cotton has a strong interest in Zoological Medicine, and plans to pursue a residency to specialize in this field. In his free time, he enjoys watching movies, jogging, reading, and cheering on the Atlanta Falcons football team!

Samantha Scholz, DVM

Samantha Scholz, DVM


Dr. Samantha Scholz grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania and attended Kent State University earning a Bachelors of Science in Zoology in 2013. She subsequently attended the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2017.

Dr. Scholz’ veterinary interests include animal behavior, toxicology, and public policy. While currently concentrating on practice associated with cats and dogs, Dr. Scholz enjoys working with animals ranging from mice to cattle.

When not at work, she spends time with her husband, Ian, their two dogs, Cayenne and Laika, a green-cheeked conure, a leopard gecko, and goldfish. During her free time Dr. Scholz enjoys kayaking, fishing, and visiting museums.

Kristina Toth, DVM

Kristina Toth, DVM


Dr. Kristina Toth grew up in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Due to her keen interest and fascination with a variety of species, her interests include working with zoological institutions and aquariums. The tremendous diversity of the animals, the opportunity for education and the ability to help with conservation efforts is what keeps Dr. Toth engaged in this segment of veterinary medicine. She also thoroughly enjoys companion animal medicine and assisting clients in maintaining their pet's health and longevity in order to maintain the human-animal bond.

Dr. Toth received a Bachelor of Science degree in biological science with a minor in nutrition at the University of Guelph in 2013 and was accepted to the Ontario Veterinary College where she graduated a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2017.

In her free time she enjoys playing sports, exercising, hiking, and spending time with friends and family including two cats who live at home.
