February 7 Animal First Aid and CPR Training Session Recap
30 K9 Officers and Search & Rescue volunteers attended the Feb. 7 Animal First Aid and CPR Training session. During the 4 hour session, the attendees were instructed in life-saving procedures for their work companions. Physicians from IVEC lead attendees through a variety of first aid scenarios, such as head trauma, shock, bleeding, heat stroke, as well as CPR.
On March 7, IVEC will be holding another Animal First-aid & CPR Training session for all pet owners in central Indiana. Registration deadline is Feb. 28 and cost is $30 per person.
